Salary bands are one of the last things candidates find out and one of the first things they should know. Our salary data comes from anonymous submissions by people in the role, not from job adverts.
What we show
For each employer we publish median base salary by role, the number of submissions behind each figure, and the location the figures relate to. Where employees report them, we also cover bonus and commission structures, and the benefits that actually matter day to day: pension contributions, healthcare, leave, shift premiums, relocation support and overtime treatment.
Why medians and not averages
A handful of senior salaries can drag an average upward and make a role look better paid than it is. Medians describe the middle of the range, which is closer to what you would actually be offered. We also show submission counts so you can judge how much weight a figure deserves. Fewer than twenty submissions means treat it as indicative.
Base pay is not total pay
In commission-heavy and shift-based roles, the base figure can be a small part of what you take home, and the variable part is where disputes usually happen. Our reviews often describe how bonus schemes work in practice, including when they change. Read those alongside the numbers.
Add your salary
Salary transparency only works if people contribute. Submissions are anonymous, take under a minute, and are never shown alongside anything that could identify you.
