Company culture rankings

Culture is the hardest thing to assess from outside and the thing most likely to determine whether you stay. These rankings are built from what employees report, not from awards, brand recognition or marketing spend.

How the rankings work

Employers are ranked on their trailing twenty-four month average scores. To appear in a ranking, an employer needs a minimum of one hundred reviews, so a small number of unusually positive or negative accounts cannot distort a position. You can filter by location, sector, licence jurisdiction and company size.

The rankings we publish

  • Top rated by sector. The highest overall scores within a defined industry, so you are comparing like with like.
  • Needs improvement. Employers with the most active red flag reports per hundred reviews.
  • Most controversial. The widest gap between five star and one star reviews. A divided score usually means the experience differs sharply by team or location, which is worth understanding before you accept.
  • Best remote friendly. Highest flexibility scores among employers with remote or hybrid policies.
  • Fastest rising. Biggest score improvement over twelve months. These are the employers actually changing.
  • Most reviewed. The largest review bases on the platform, where the data is deepest.

What rankings cannot tell you

A high ranking is not a guarantee and a low one is not a verdict. Teams differ, managers differ, and your experience will be shaped by the specific people you work with. Use rankings to decide where to look closely, then read the reviews.
