About the role

As a Data Engineering Manager, Customer, you'll lead a team building scalable data solutions that power critical capabilities across our customer-focused organisation. You'll combine people leadership with hands-on technical ownership, developing talented Data Engineers while staying close to the code and shaping technical direction. What you'll do: - Lead, mentor and develop a team of Data Engineers, supporting career growth and a collaborative culture. - Guide delivery of high-quality, scalable data solutions across the customer domain, balancing speed and quality. - Advance AI-enabled software development practices to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate delivery. - Stay hands-on with the codebase, provide architectural guidance and set technical standards for reliable, high-performing data solutions. What you'll bring: - At least 2 years of technical management experience including direct people leadership. - A strong Data Engineering background with hands-on SQL across ingestion, transformation and delivery. - Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery, plus Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, Python and Datadog. - Hands-on experience with agentic coding workflows; building a Customer 360 or Customer Data Platform is a plus. Compensation: US base salary range 153,400 to 191,800 USD, plus bonus, equity and benefits.
